Final Project ECOMP 7010

I used iFunFace on the iPad to create these videos.  There are a few drawbacks when using this app.  First, to record the interview, each clip must be recorded separately, so an actual interview process is hard to create.  Second, there are some voice options for recording, like a robot, squirrel, or human.  You must select the correct voice for each recording, or it automatically defaults to the squirrel voice.  The squirrel voice can be hard to understand.  The final drawback is that any picture must be a front-facing image with the head and mouth in clear view.  I had a hard time finding animal pictures that met this criteria, so the student choices of research animals would be limited.

It was very easy to animate the pictures, and young students could easily run the app with basic supervision.  The children who made the example projects liked making the videos.  If you listen carefully, you can hear the giant panda in character, chewing bamboo as he talks.
